How many people are playing Moon Sweepers?
On October 30, 2026, roughly a week after the October 23 launch, DragDrop Games announced that Moon Sweepers had reached 600,000 players, with a peak of around 70,000 concurrent players. The studio thanked players for support, for leaving reviews and for reporting bugs, and said the launch gave the team the chance to keep building the game.
The patch history covers what changed in 1.0.3 through 1.0.5.
What is planned for Update 1.1?
Update 1.1 is planned for December 2026. DragDrop Games calls it the studio’s first major content update and its biggest so far.
| Area | What the studio described |
|---|---|
| Production machines | More machines and production chains for the factory system |
| Materials and products | New materials, turning lunar resources into more valuable products through longer lines |
| Tools and upgrades | New ways to clean the Moon and improve your equipment |
| Automation | More options for large automated cleaning operations |
| Buildings | More building options, aimed at easier base design and expansion |
| Progression | More reasons to keep expanding the factory and cleaning |
| Performance | Continued optimization for larger bases and more complex factories |
The studio said it is especially focused on making the late game more rewarding, with more to unlock and bigger factories to build. Everything listed is still in development and may change before release.
Until then, the live version is 1.0.5. The tools and automation overview and the upgrade matrix describe what you can build with the current machines.
What happens after you clean the Moon?
The announcement also answered what happens once the entire Moon is clean. The developers said they have plans for what comes after full cleanup, and that cleaning the Moon might only be the beginning of your career.
That is separate from Update 1.1. 1.1 is a December content update with machines, materials and progression for the game you already play; the post-cleanup plans come after the Moon itself is finished. If you are chasing the Time To Go Sleep… achievement, how long to beat explains why the 100% goal has no fixed hour count.
