Moon Sweepers Crew Transport: cost, cargo & upgrades
The $2,000 Crew Transport moves players and carries four capsules in Moon Sweepers.
What is the Crew Transport for?
The Crew Transport is a van for moving players between work areas. It costs $2,000 at a Garage and has space for four capsules, handled with T. It does not collect ground dust into a hopper.
Cost and carrying role
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Vehicle price | $2,000 |
| Capsule space | 4 |
| Dust collection | None |
| Purchase location | Garage |
| Garage building | $200, bought separately |
For collection income, compare the Push Sweeper or another cleaner on the vehicle table. The van is useful when getting the crew between sites matters more than adding another dust-collecting vehicle.
How do you handle cargo?
Use the capsule space for moving already-packed material. Once at the delivery end, send capsules into a station’s receiving route or onto a connected conveyor. The van has no sweeper hopper to empty into the Garage silo; that unloading route belongs to the cleaning vehicles.
The capsule guide covers packing and belt placement, and the logistics guide explains the final connection to a station intake. Carrying capsules and selling them are separate steps.
Which upgrades can it buy?
The Crew Transport has movement, cruise-control and lighting upgrades. Big Hopper, Suction Control and Quick Release apply to cleaning vehicles and cannot be bought for the Crew Transport. Prices below are individual levels for this vehicle, as of October 30, 2026.
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Tuned Motors | $500 / $1,200 / $3,000 |
| Turbo Kit | $800 / $2,400 |
| Cruise Control | $1,000 |
| Floodlights | $200 / $600 |
In 1.0.5, turn off Settings → Controls → Vehicle camera follows behind to stop automatic camera recentering. Compare upgrade effects in the Upgrade Matrix before spending on the van.
