Moon Sweepers: farm 1,000 and 10,000 depot deposits
Farm Depot Resident and Do You Live Here? with a conveyor beside the manual intake. Learn what counts and repeat deposits without walking between loads.
What do Depot Resident and Do You Live Here? require?
Steam gives these exact requirements:
| Achievement | Official description |
|---|---|
| Regular Customer | Deposit dust at the depot 100 times. |
| Depot Resident | Deposit dust at the depot 1,000 times. |
| Do You Live Here? | Deposit dust at the depot 10,000 times. |
These are deposit counts. Each manually deposited capsule adds one, regardless of its weight. Sending capsules into the station’s exterior automatic-selling intake does not advance this counter. A larger load increases the material delivered, but does not turn one deposit into several.
Use the achievement checklist for the separate dust-weight, money and successful-launch goals. Frequent Flyer Dust asks for contributions to 10 successful launches; reaching a deposit milestone does not replace that requirement.
How do you farm deposits without walking between loads?
Bring a conveyor beside the manual depot intake, within reach of the position where you deposit. Feed it dust capsules so you can collect and deposit repeatedly without leaving that spot. A Garage silo can supply the belt from a vehicle load; the capsule reference covers other ways to package collected dust.
- Stand where both the arriving capsules and the manual intake are within reach.
- Aim so a brief press and hold of E collects the arriving capsule and deposits its dust.
- Release E before starting the next pickup, then repeat as capsules arrive.
- Watch the first few hand-ins to check that you can collect and deposit from that position before repeating the loop.
This removes the travel between individual hand-ins. Keep the conveyor supplied rather than driving out for a new load after each deposit. The automatic-selling guide shows the exterior sales connection; for this achievement, bring the capsules to your manual hand-in position instead.
Does capsule weight matter for farming?
A 1 kg capsule and a 100 kg capsule each count as one deposit. Choose a steady supply of capsules you can repeatedly hand in; collecting a heavier load for each interaction does not reduce the required number of hand-ins.
Finish the deposit, release the key and start the next cycle. If the supply belt empties, refill its source before continuing. Use the equipment data hub to plan the collection side without adding extra travel to the hand-in loop.
