Moon Sweepers Building Tool: cost, placement & moving
The $50 Building Tool places Moon Sweepers machines, conveyors and building parts. Learn what to buy first and how moving and refunds work.
What does the Building Tool do?
The $50 Building Tool opens construction for logistics, production, power equipment and structural pieces. Buy it at the station’s Supply Wall, then equip it to choose what to place. Its price buys access to construction; it does not include any machines or belts.
What should you budget for a first build?
| Purchase | Base cost |
|---|---|
| Building Tool | $50 |
| Packager | $100 |
| Conveyor route | $0.50 per meter |
| Garage | $200 |
A Packager unloads a handheld tool into a conveyor. You can also place carried capsules directly onto a belt, so the first selling connection does not need a Packager. Build the last belt section into an orange-ringed station intake and send a capsule through it before extending the route.
For vehicles, buy a Garage and budget separately for the vehicle. For sand production, add a Pressure Chamber and power; a processor with no ingredients or electricity will not make material.
How do moving and removal work?
In 1.0.5, press R to move buildings for free. Removing a building gives a full refund. Reposition collection equipment as your cleaning area moves, then check conveyor direction and power coverage after placing it again.
The building guide covers dusty-ground placement, foundations, snapping and moving a piece with the equipment standing on it. Use the building parts catalog to compare structural shapes and prices, or the machines table for equipment functions and connections.
