What the Catcher does

J.O.O.N.A.S. launches filled dust capsules toward the nearest Capsule Catcher. The catcher’s job is to receive those capsules and hand them to your conveyor network — it is not a Pressure Chamber, Stone Press, or depot substitute. Pairing details continue on J.O.O.N.A.S.. Hub: data hub.

Placement and routing

KeenGamer and whisperofthehouse agree on the operational loop:

J.O.O.N.A.S. → Capsule Catcher → conveyor → processing and/or Depot

Inspect output direction before committing a long belt. A catcher that receives capsules but has no outgoing route still stalls the automation story — the robot may keep launching while your income stays flat if belts never reach a paying intake.

Official 1.0.4 also improved J.O.O.N.A.S. so it no longer needs a dock trip for every capsule and keeps working when players are away; the catcher remains the recommended unload target in every major guide.

• Exact catcher footprint, snap rules, or max simultaneous inbound capsules per second.
