Can you play Moon Sweepers on macOS?

There is no native Mac version. The Steam release is for Windows. You cannot install and launch a macOS version from the Mac Steam client.

On Apple Silicon, the Windows version can run through Highball with DXMT. See the Highball setup below for the working configuration and performance limits.

Has DragDrop Games announced a Mac version?

As of October 29, 2026, DragDrop Games has not announced a macOS port or release date.

What about CrossOver, Whisky or Parallels?

• CrossOver: treat this as experimental for Moon Sweepers and plan for troubleshooting if you try it.
• Whisky: a poor choice for a fresh Moon Sweepers setup because Whisky is no longer actively maintained. It requires an Apple Silicon Mac and macOS 14 or later.

Should you buy it if you only have a Mac?

If a Mac is your only computer, buy only if you are comfortable trying the Highball/DXMT setup and troubleshooting it yourself. Plan your checks within Steam’s refund window. The supported system requirements are for Windows 10 and 11 PCs.
