Moon Sweepers building guide: placement, moving and refunds

Plan Moon Sweepers building placement, use snapping and free placement, move a factory platform, and check belts and power after relocating in 1.0.5.

Where should you start building?

Choose a station intake and leave space for incoming dust, processing and outgoing belts. Keep vehicle access clear if you unload through a Garage, or reserve receiving space for Capsule Catchers. Connect a short selling route before expanding the factory around it.

The factory guide covers machine counts and power. Plan those connections alongside the building layout so each press has room for separate sand and raw-dust inputs.

How should you use snapping and free placement?

Snapping helps align construction pieces; free placement lets you choose a custom position. Place machines before routing their belts, and inspect the position of each input and output before confirming the layout. Leave enough space around splitters and mergers to connect the intended ports.

After placing a machine, test a short connection before building a long conveyor. A belt close to a port still needs a working connection. The logistics guide explains routing splitters, mergers and station sales.

How do you move a platform with its machines?

In 1.0.5, the Building Tool’s move mode picks up a piece together with everything standing on it. Select the supporting foundation to relocate a machine platform as a group. Moving it is free.

Connected belts follow the moved ports where they can reach. Check every connection after placing the platform, especially where its belts meet equipment that stayed in the old location. Keep room at the destination for both ingredient feeds and the outgoing conveyor.

Do you get your money back when removing buildings?

In 1.0.5, removing a building piece refunds its full purchase price. You can revise a layout without losing part of that piece’s price on removal.

Let capsules clear belt sections before removing them where practical. Deleting a loaded conveyor can leave dropped capsules around a machine port, making the next connection harder to inspect. Look for loose capsules and check the port before rebuilding that section.

What should you check after moving or rebuilding?

Follow one delivery through the complete route before expanding again:

  1. Check that the catcher or Garage has an outgoing belt connected to its outfeed.
  2. Trace each belt toward its destination and inspect the connections at splitters and mergers.
  3. Confirm that processors have power in the new position.
  4. Supply sand and raw dust to their separate Stone Press inputs.
  5. Watch the output reach the station intake and confirm that it earns money.
  6. Time deliveries once the line has settled, then compare actual throughput with your factory plan.

If material stops, work back from the intake to find the first blocked connection or missing ingredient. Use the profit calculator with completed sales to check the rebuilt line’s income.
