How do you use the Moon Sweepers map?

Open the Moon Map at a station’s main console to review your cleaning progress and choose the next area. Use its colors to find unfinished ground, mark a destination with a waypoint, and check where robots are working. The Teleport Panel provides travel between stations you have already discovered.

For your first deliveries and equipment purchases, follow the beginner guide. Use this page when planning the next cleaning route or checking regional progress.

What do the map’s region colors mean?

Color Cleaning state How to use it
Orange Untouched ground Choose a fresh area for a new cleaning run
Blue Cleaning has started but is incomplete Revisit nearby unfinished work
Green Fully cleaned ground See which areas are complete

Check blue sections near your existing clean area before making a long trip elsewhere. Their remaining dust may be close to a station, helping you finish local work while keeping deliveries short. For larger collection trips, compare vehicles and prepare a Garage unloading route.

How do you set waypoints and focus the map?

Since 1.0.4, right-click opens the map’s waypoint, focus and teleport actions. Use waypointing to mark where you plan to work and focus to inspect an area. Station travel is also available through the separate Teleport Panel.

The 1.0.3 compass update gives dust stations, crewmates, waypoints and the sector readout different icon colors. Follow the relevant marker when returning from a cleaning trip instead of relying only on the appearance of nearby terrain.

How do you teleport between stations?

Use the Teleport Panel to view and travel between discovered stations. When planning a route, check which destinations are already in that panel. A waypoint marks a destination for navigation; use the discovered-station list when choosing your return trip.

After arriving, check your local dust-delivery route before moving a large collection operation. A vehicle load still needs a working collector and selling connection. The factory guide helps plan processing near that route.

How do you track robots on the map?

The map shows robots with their current activity, and each robot type can be toggled on or off. Use those filters to find the cleaner you are checking. J.O.O.N.A.S. Sector Tracking identifies the sector it is cleaning; inspect that area alongside the robot’s activity.

If a cleaner is working but sales have stopped, follow its capsule delivery route and the automatic selling connection. Map activity and material reaching the station are different checks.

Why does a region show 0% or stop at 99.9%?

Two progress problems were fixed in 1.0.5:

  • Distant hexes cleaned by J.O.O.N.A.S. could remain at 99.9% without completing or paying.
  • Some sectors displayed 0% with no dust left. The game now checks them when the world loads, completing and paying for finished ones. Unmeasured sectors no longer display a misleading 0%.

Update the game before treating those old symptoms as missing dust. Patch 1.0.4 also fixed map payments that omitted the Region Bounty. Use the upgrades reference for that bonus and the achievement checklist to distinguish local milestones from whole-Moon completion.

How do stations, teleports and intakes fit together?

A station anchors three different jobs, and they use different screens:

  • The Moon Map console shows coverage and lets you mark a waypoint.
  • The Teleport Panel moves you between stations you have already discovered.
  • The intake on the outside wall is where capsules sell, so it is the end of a belt route rather than a place to clean.

Plan on the map, travel by panel, and let the belt handle sales while you work elsewhere. For the money side of that loop, see the early money guide; for cash you pick up on foot, the flags and survey sites guide covers the ground around the North, East and West stations. Belt connections and intake placement are in logistics machines.
