Moon Sweepers J.O.O.N.A.S. late-game guide

Keep a late-game J.O.O.N.A.S. fleet cleaning: check remote work, clear full catchers, move receiving routes and choose where to spend next.

Does J.O.O.N.A.S. stop when you leave the area?

Use 1.0.4 or later for remote cleaning. That update lets J.O.O.N.A.S. keep working without nearby players and launch capsules from the field. You can work elsewhere while it cleans. Install 1.0.5 or later for the fix to distant hexes remaining at 99.9% without completing or paying.

Open the Moon Map and filter for robots to inspect their current activity. Look at a stalled unit to read its information panel and Sector Tracking. A flashing red bin gauge means the bin is full; inspect its receiving route next. The J.O.O.N.A.S. reference covers purchase costs and the initial setup.

How do you keep a larger fleet unloading?

Follow the route from the station backward: intake → output belts → processors → catchers. Find the first place where capsules stop. Reconnect an outfeed that ends short of its destination, clear a backed-up merger, or restore power and both ingredients to an idle Stone Press before adding collectors.

In 1.0.5, catchers within 100 m of each other form a group. J.O.O.N.A.S. selects the emptiest catcher in the nearest group and switches groups when every catcher there is over 80% full. Inspect the whole group: another catcher beside a full one still needs an outgoing belt that clears its deliveries.

The Capsule Catcher reference explains receiving connections. Use the factory calculator when adding processors or separate output lanes.

Where should you move the operation next?

Choose unfinished ground on the map and keep its receiving route connected to a station. Since 1.0.5, the Building Tool’s R move mode repositions a piece and everything standing on it for free. Check every affected belt afterward; attached belts follow only where they can reach. The building guide covers move controls and placement.

For hands-on collection in another area, take a cleaning vehicle and prepare a local Garage unloading route. Any Garage can recall, store and upgrade your owned vehicles since 1.0.3. Use discovered-station travel to return to a factory that needs attention.

Should you buy more robots or improve deliveries?

A full catcher and a stopped outgoing queue call for more delivery capacity. An empty factory waiting for dust calls for more collection. Compare completed sales over a timed interval before spending; the profit calculator uses those deliveries rather than a machine’s theoretical output.

If you are still funding purchases, Market Contracts I costs $120 for +6% payout. Compare its payback with collection equipment using the upgrade reference. Once you can afford the equipment you need, a catcher → belt → station intake route sells raw dust without feeding or powering processors. Use that simpler route when your goal is clearing ground rather than increasing each kilogram’s sale value.
